My wife was mortified that 14yo kids didn’t require helmets for skateboarding. A couple of the girls hit their heads on the concrete pretty hardWedgie wrote:I'd imagine the extra weight of the helmets would cause more concussions and/or make them more severe so it does seem weird the girls still wear them.
