More grateful than rate, son was filling in for the opposition yesterday as they were short and copped a knee to the back of his neck, ironically by one of his mates. Game stopped, ambulance called and off to Flinders for the next 9 hours, thankfully he is 3 months from being 18 so got taken to paediatrics straight away, past 5 ambulances that were ramped. Long story short he cracked his C7 and T1 vertebrae but nothing that will impact him long term other than being very sore for the next few days, could have been so much worse. He (and my wife - I wasn't there) rec'd great care from all which was awesome, very grateful.

Good to hear the lads ok.
Would have been a scary few hours though I bet.
Also good to hear good stories about our hospital system also as we only hear the doom and gloom normally.

Glad to hear he's okay Dutchy. Second the pediatric ward at Flinders, spent far too much time up there for various injuries, and they're amazing staff and get the kids sorted in no time at all.

Ouch, that’s gonna be really painful. I cracked my S4 7 weeks ago and it’s only very recently come good, was really painful for 4 weeks.

Hope the lad recovers soon and the pain subsides.

My 55 inch Samsung only cost me $895, you were ripped off ;-)

Speaking of things you rate (or will rate)

Samsung TV, you've now got access to about 100 other channels, and there's about 4 or 5 history channels which you'll end up watching more than normal tv, because I know that's how you roll 8)

there's also true crime channels, a baywatch channel, among many others

Can with ours, and according to the internet any Samsung Smart TV built from 2017 afterwards.

I did have a samsung 15 years ago and it was a piece of crap, just used a chromecast/tablet with it instead.

I’ve got a 55 inch Samsung and it has everything loaded except Kayo and I can’t get it to download so I have to use a chromecast.
My other TV’s downloaded Kayo no probs.

Might be just my model

Went to the Good Guys one day hoping to get a fridge with the cash I had in my pocket.

I was only trying to haggle down $80 when the bloke wouldn't budge, I ended up saying to him "Geez mate, you should just be called The Guys".

FWIW, I knocked him down $50,it was for the maintenance department lunch room for where I was working at the time so no big deal.
