South have recruited big man Oli Northam from St Joeys in Geelong.
Not good for St Joeys who were top and pushing for a flag.

Sturt finally has a gun midfield with Snelling in, our defence is solid and with Doyle back we’ll have solid ruck options, the only weakness is our forward entry and forward lines. After a rusty start Hone seems to be playing well again along side Matthews, our issue is tall forwards, Burrows is having a horror patch and can barely take a mark, hopefully with Grivell back in that is sorted but Burrows is unlikely to be dropped until Doyle returns.

Bull shit, they're got two boxes ready to go already!! End of FY discount!

Got a discount job lot on two years worth of teal t-shirts from up the road at 2021 prices.... ;)
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Article I read said he's only playing on a 4 match permit and he's only missing 3 of their matches due to a comp bye of one of the weeks and 2 of his team's matches are against bottom sides so they should manage.

Yeah I heard the 4 match thing but assumed he was missing the whole season for St Joeys
I've got a daughter yelling at me because she worked at South for years as a physio for no glory and now she's at St Joey's South screw them!
In fairness St Mary's would be favs in the Geelong league anyway despite Joeys being top.

I hope Des Foster is still alive. He must be invited to toss the coin.

Don't know about Sturt, they've been very unimpressive against North this year but Norwood are a certainty to be there.
