South Clare vs BBH
A Grade- I noticed South Clare picked somewhat closer to their best side despite the loss against Blyth. If they pick that side they should beat BBH. Whoever loses season is completely done if it wasn't already.
B Grade- South should be comfortable winners after 2 loses to top 4 sides.
Min Man vs Southern Saints
A Grade- Min Man are the most unpredictable side in the comp at the moment, however even at their best i struggle to see them knocking off the Saints who should win by 6 goals.
B Grade- Min Man have been improving but not enough to get close to the top of table Saints. This could get ugly 100 plus.
BSR vs North Clare
A Grade- BSR coming off their first loss in 24 games have a very tough contest against a finals bound North Clare. This is match of the round by a mile, should be a cracker.
B Grade- coming off only their second loss in 24 games come up against a confident North Clare side, this will be a close one, hopefully BSR have enough to get the job done.
Blyth vs RSMU
A Grade- In the space of a few weeks this game now looks to be a cracker. Blyth win and they are very well and truly in the finals mix. Should be a belter, im going to go Blyth just.
B Grade- Same as the a grade you would expect Blyth to win easily but RSMU have been up and about in the b grade the last few weeks and would expect this to be relatively close. Blyth by 3-4 goals.
Great to see over a handful of games where the results are hard to predict. Exciting times.

As stated, although MINMAN have had the wood on the saints for a while, the second round clash was an outlier
be interesting to see if they can get over
the other games shoudl go as expected
i do feel for the south coach or any A grade coach where players set their playing agendas to best suit their needs rather than the club they play for
although this is a very common thing these days

It’s easy for me to get the high horse coz we’ve had success and appreciate it makes a lot of things easier but we don’t have a single bloke who is a ‘b grade’ only. I’ve never had a b grader say to me that’s all I will ever play and if you look at the a grade the only bloke you might say could be in the a grade from the b’s is mongrel Mackenzie but he is 40 and doesn’t have the legs he once had.
Having really good footballers being b grade only is a massive trap and real dark culture to head down.

This is why BSR are so far in front and have had the success they have had
No other club in the NEFL could say this
BBH, BS and South have become B grade clubs in the last 5 years

A few interesting games in the A Grade this week. Southern Saints vs RSMU would be the pick of the games, Saints should get up however.
BBH vs Min Man will be interesting over at Burra. Last chance for Min Man....must win to keep finals hopes alive.
The Clare Derby is always a good watch. Would expect North to win real easy but you just never know in the derby.
BSR Blyth should be the most one sided game of the rounds.
B Grade
BSR vs Blyth looks the game of the round.....albeit i would expect a very strong Blyth outfit to knock of the Tigs.
Saints vs RSMU will see the comps two hottest sides face off. Would expect the Saints to still be too good by 6 goals.
A grade
saint v BSR for the flag
the otehr teams not even in the picture
South should win the derby with ease
Min Man vs BBH is spoon day with the loser guaranteed to take the least wanted prize.

whufc wrote:South Clare with the biggest upset of the season knocking of North Clare in the A Grade. It shouldn't affect Norths standings but not exactly what you want heading into your first finals campaign in a fair while.
Min Man have kept the pressure on RSMU for the fourth spot. Sounds like BBH wasted a lot of opportunities kicking 9.17 for the day.
Less said about Blyths' A Grade the better, probably what you deserve when you start focusing more on the B Grade.
Only surprise in the B Grade was the BSR victory over Blyth, was helped with Scotty Atkinson going down at the end of the first quarter with what looked to be a calf injury. All other results were as expected.

Cats were horrific in the A grade, but I’m not sure who you are insinuating they have dropped to the B grade?
Currently have Mcshane, Joel Berty, Drew Berty, McRae, Will Angle, Andriske and Salter all out of our first 21. Walkley and Wade both dropped because they have struggled in the A grade.
Scott might be the only one who you could argue, but his body isn’t even close to getting through a B grade game let alone a A grade game.
