So a good tackle can be given 3 weeks, albeit then appealed, yet a Maynard elbow fend off to the chin gets a fine?

No wonder many are confused

That one was pretty straight forward, he had the ball, accidental and no harm was done. Just worth a free IMHO.

Fine because it was careless and could have done damage, no brainer.
With the amount of confusing ones this year this was one of the simpler to work out.
I'm no Maynard fan and think he should have got 4 for his hit on Brayshaw last year and Ginnivan is my favourite player to watch so no bias here.
