Nearly lost this, think that the wet conditions of the last quarter we were found out with too many talls (been a long time since Dogs have had that luxury).
Liddy probably played his best game as a Doggie. Along with Grant and Dittmar they combined for 31 tackles and 24 Clearances.
Grace is in terrific form up fwd.
Chisholm, Louie McLennan and Whitelum all rewarded at the Club for their efforts in the ressies. Along with Pudney and Barreau, we are starting to consolidate our depth.

Credit to West who started and finished strongly and could not be accused of not having a real crack. Thankful of the 2 points in the end, thought Dittmar was hard at it all day for us..
Players win touches, Teams win matches, Clubs win Premierships.

Centrals didn’t lose, and I guess that’s the story of their season.

They go into games with a ‘Don’t lose’ mentality as opposed to a ‘Win’ mentality, and it was obvious at various stages in the game with Centrals going the flood every time West went in their forward half. This strategy nearly cost them the game, and I shudder to think what Norwood are going to do to Centrals next week.
They don't keep me here because I'm gorgeous and 5'10

Too many talls in wet or dry conditions.
Five key defenders and four key forwards was a little over the top.
It's still good to win but a better team structure is needed.
Dropping Pudney over the likes of Shaw,Tippins and Beuchner was strange.
Luca could have come straight back in and Lange needs to find more of the footy.
If Iles and jez are down we have no run and carry,we are very stagnant.
It was good to watch the ressies with some quality back,
although that game was just as frustrating as the league with our ball movement.
Hopefully Prez and Gasper back in next week,it will be a big test vs the legs.

Strong chance that Luca and Gasper return next week. Think one of the defensive talls will make way.

Chisholm had a half last week and 3 quarters yesterday, so possibly a full hit out in ressies beforehand? Gotta ease him in... Chiz could have a big impact on how we fare in Finals.
Dittmar, Chisholm, Grant, Liddy and Barry is a bloody decent midgroup.

Just need to find our best wing options IMO. Shaw isn't finding the ball, and Larkins is inconsistent in impact and ball use. Lange is also inconsistent, but can move forward and turn a game in a hurry. He and Luca would be my preferences.

Whitelum or Pudney for Shaw and Gasper for Pearce.
