With Anzac coming in
Significantly no Jez again . .

Jezz, Prez, Whitelum, Kendall, Barreau, Pearce, East, Chisholm, Thomas... at least 7 would be in our top 22.

Are they actually close to returning, every injury we get is always longer than 3 weeks.

At the South game, Jezz said he'd be back after the bye. Hope it's just precautionary.

Pearce???

I listed guys whose last game was in league.
IMO at least 7 of that nine would be in our top 22. That didn't include Pearce

Port won't score 28 points.

If we only kick 8 goals we don't deserve to play finals.

Assuming Howe in doubt with Pickering named on the extended bench.. would expect Lochowiak to come in for Thomas fresh off 5 goals in the magoos… and despite that being a comparatively weak Power Reserves side coming off a hiding (cue the comments weakest ever) why am I still seeing this as a real danger game??

Port fans will have more idea than me but although fielding a less experienced team today they appear to be a bit of a mosquito fleet who will relish the wet conditions .. thinking this will be closer than the odds are suggesting

Halftime. Port by two points.
Dogs lucky to be close... defence kept us in it and attack looks okay.
Mids, apart from Dittmar are woeful.
Liddy larkins Barry all with 3 disposals. Ports tackling (54 to 32] having impact.

Much better quarter, hit the front with clearances, still less inside 50s.

Arguably the best performed of this year’s recruits.. despite Chisholm being due back soon he offers grunt with a bit of pace that we otherwise lack so hope he’s ok.. My pre match worries were vindicated at HT, and although we busted the game open in the 3rd qtr, Port could easily have kicked a couple as well to be well in it at 3/4 time.. Bank the points and brace for the Crows next week

First half was ordinary ,gave the impression particularly in the first quarter we thought we just had to turn up to win.
Excellent 3rd quarter set up the result and i think we cruised in the last .
Billy Iles great in his 50th game .
