The ball was rushed from beyond the goal square. It's a simple rule, and the easiest decision an umpire had to pay all day.

Played some real good footy for tge 1st 3qtrs

Cue well and truly put in the rack in last qtr which gives us some things to work on.

Last qtr wasn’t helped by some inexplicable umpiring due to poor match management and team work earlier in the match (extended MZ stints and failure to recognise change over opportunities)
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

God, I thought everyone on here was an umpiring expert....

Yeah nah got it wrong re the mid zone handovers (watching the replay) but stand by the poor match management comment.

God, I thought everyone on here was an umpiring expert....

it means the bald headed one (Ace Ventura I think) had a good 8-10 min stint at the start of the game when the ball was going up and down the between the 50s (two inside 50 stoppages and chance for Bowen to chop him out and go in the MZ but no). End of the game the Ace is running up and down on the spot and we're getting poor match management.

Seriously, please get some help.

No-one, and I mean no-one critiques umpires like this. The correct way is to say how shit they were and how it cost their team the match. Nothing more, nothing less.

I don’t understand the difference in ratings for both incidents when both Frost and McLied went off and after the incidents but then came back on with no noticeable ill effects. Interesting that Frost got plenty of touches and was himself cited following his alleged rough conduct in the last qtr.

Both should be rated as medium, IMO.

And your point is?

No one on here is debating the conduct or the contact.

Impact can be looked at when the rule of thumb* is: Low - plays on, medium goes off but then comes back on, high - takes no further part in the game, severe - concussion protocols multiple week injury.

* based on multiple appearances at a tribunal after reporting players.
