Wouldn't it be better if the Magpies contested it?

Based on these https://sanfl-content.imgix.net/content/uploads/2024/03/15091417/State-Territory-Tribunal-Guidelines_SANFL_2024.pdf
it's been graded the lowest possible conduct (careless) the outcome is severe based on the concussion - White will miss at least two games the only possible room for manoeuvre for Port is, is the contact high (four weeks) or three (body) - p 22 of the linked document.
Yep in the past this would've been included in a 2020's version of MMM Rockin' Footy DVD as one of those incidents we all loved 10 years ago but as we all know the our sport takes concussion much more seriously hence why we get this outcome (match review sanction) when players choose to bump.
As your most decorated Port Power player Kane Cornes (4 x BFs 1 x premiership) said on SEN breakfast on Monday - the bump is dead
PS these guidelines would apply if you were in the VFL competition, just quietly

Won't White miss 3 games? Isn't 21 days if you're an SANFL player, but AFL players only take 14 days to recover? Another one of those unfair rules the AFL players have to endure.

It's ridiculous, from what I've seen some people commenting on the incident are delusion with comments highlighting that the SANFL are corrupt and biased against Port for the decision being upheld, others are trying to be funny suggesting that it's a blessing in disguise that he won't be playing in the senior side for three weeks.MW wrote:mots02 wrote:Lots of interesting social media commentary from port folk ‘he didn’t get him high, the player the concussion from hitting his head on the ground, Charlie didn’t hit him, Charlie did nothing wrong.’
