Going solely of the scoreboard updates this must have been a ripper game.
Might watch the highlights which is rare for me for a game not involving North.
Would have gone if I knew where Thomas had his farm so I went to the casino instead.

Must have been. That Sturt player near the death kicking 15 m out and not reaching the target was a killer. 8) Maybe stepped in some poo.

Definitely a strong breeze to the Northern end, very difficult to play into it - Sturt botched it in the first qtr… with the assistance of the men in pink handing out 10 first qtr frees to their mates ;)

Topsy turvey, entertaining game. Eags dominated in the first half and should have been further in front at half time. Blues third quarter was scintillating and the Eagles were a shambles and powerless to stop the onslaught allowing 6 goals in a row. (West also did this to the Eags in the second quarter of round one- needs to be fixed!!!). In the last quarter, the Eagles showed great resilience, grit and fitness to claw back the lead and hold on. Always good to win out there. Jack Firns with 3 crucial marks in the last quarter was solid all game and Wiliams, Sinor and D'Aloia were terrific. Well done to Battersby on his 200th.
