Smyth used the rationale that they would still be a younger side than Melbourne.

I think Smyth forgot that they got rid of Bradtke, Copeland and Gaze 2 seasons ago, no coincidence the won the championship when they went decidely younger.

Dear me - why didn't they go after Andris Blicavs and Werner (The Doc) Linde? For those of you old enough and can remember the old days of the District B/Ball at Forrestville and Apollo Stadium these guys were "super stars" of their day - the 60's and 70's!!!

Don't forget Albert Leslie.

I'm sure Michelle could 'pep up' the boys during time-outs.

OMG, i just saw that today...wtf are they doing...wheeler, hell, i remember seeing him early 90's and thinking what a dork!!! well, as long as they can add some youth...the guys that have been fringe of late have sucked ass big time...young brad hill is a bright spot however but we need him to kick on to be the way maher was around the mid to late 90's...

will be interesting to barrack for copeland as ive gotten used to dreding him all these years...weird to see him in a 36ers jersey...
