I was on Sanur Beach in July 2018 when the earthquake hit Lombok around 7am

I was sitting on a pool lounge working on my laptop and thought someone was rocking the lounge from behind
As you would expect, I sat watching the beach for the next 2 hours in case of a tsunami!

An earthquake has hit Turkey today. The Earth is angry, I would be a little nervous if I was in Japan or west coast of USA right now.

The world's largest active volcano spewed some ash and lava on Monday and officials warned residents of Hawaii's Big Island to prepare for the possibility of a larger eruption. The eruption began late Sunday night in the summit caldera of the volcano on the Big Island following a series of closely spaced, fairly large earthquakes.

I was 10 years old at the time and cross in the morning because I'd slept through it and missed it.
(My mother had woken and didn't wake me because she thought I would frightened.)
