Maybe the way he played today was because of his finger injury and playing normally may of hampered him too much? But him playing in the aggressive Bazball style actually annoys me in a way, he's already that good surely he doesn't need to change the way he plays and play the ridiculous shots?

Agreed. It’s stupid and irresponsible.

He’s done it too many times now to forgive the behaviour. Today he premeditated reverse sweeps on his 1st and 3rd balls, and his dismissal was another premeditated suicide run down the wicket. As you say, he’s better than that.

If he wants be part of Bazball, then he should look at Stokes, who can start steadily then explode when the situation demands it, rather than going full ballistic from the 1st ball.

I think he should go back to what made him a very good player, but what would I know?
