I miss Sizzler....

There was one by the Morphettville Racecourse next to McDonald’s back in the day.
Another one was on the corner of South & Sturt Road which then turned into a Lone Star Steakhouse & Saloon - that was bloody good.

Also one used to be on Main North Road not far from The Windmill, usually a good drop in place after a Roosters win

Last time I enjoyed sizzler was on Gold Coast in 2008.

Apparently there were 74 sizzler restaurants in 1992, down to 17 in 2017 (mainly in QLD) before closing for good in Australia in 2020, with the final death knell allegedly being Covid.

There was a buffet restaurant in Payneham where the ice arena used to be (now Wellington Centre) called Plates and Platters, used to go there instead of Sizzler.

Last one I went to was in Phuket on the beach front in Patong. I think there's still some in Thailand.
I hate cheese but have always loved the cheese bread at Sizzlers.

The angle park buffet got booted due to covid and looks like they won't bring it back.
