For taste, I'd give it to Coopers Sparkling Ale or Coopers Vintage Ale.

For refreshment, I'd give it to Cascade Premium Lager.

Best light beer I'd give to Coopers Premium Light (a million times better than Coopers Light).

For value I'd give it to either XXXX Gold 30pk or West End Draught 30pk.

I love a cold Coopers Pale.
More recently I've been on Extra Dry. A mate said he likes them and I gave it a go - EASY to drink.

I got a 6 pack of Barossa Brewery Lager and it's very nice. Having some tonight.
I love 'Food and Stuff'. It's where I buy all of my food. And most of my stuff.

When I was at Oktoberfest a few weeks ago, I met a guy from somewhere else in the world (can't quite remember, may have had something to do with all the steins of Lowenbrau I'd consumed). He was quite insistent that VB was the best beer he'd had. I laughed and then I laughed some more.

Back when it was held in Hahndorf I met a German guy who said that, but he was a visiting Hells Angel and all the local HA's were standing around with VB in their hands, so I think he was being diplomatic. However, as one was an acquaintance of mine I'd stopped to say "Hello" to, they didn't seem to mind my standing among them drinking Coopers Ale and pointing out that the yeast in the bottle meant it was a "food not a fad", unlike VB.

Not bad for a "swilling" beer. In fact I can see there are cans of it just over in the fridge here in the Singapore QANTAS club. Reckon I'll have to rouse myself from this laptop and go grab one 8)

When I was in Borneo for a few weeks the choice was Anchor, Carlsberg, or Tiger. After one of each I stuck with Tiger for the rest of the trip. It worked with the chili for breakfast.

Crownies are just re-bottled Fosters. Try a fosters and then a crownie and try and pick the difference. You can't.

my home brew if I dont say so, damn drinkable, but I do try a few different things, such as adding extra hops, using differents yeasts etc
for commercial beers, you cant go past the James Squire range, especially the golden ale
and when at the pub, Coopers Pale off tap

One of the greatest things about the state of Western Australia is the wonderful "boutique" breweries that are scattered from the Margaret River region in the SW to Broome in the NW. There are too many high quality beers to name but a couple that stick in the memory are
- Fremantle Pils (Sail & Anchor, Fremantle)
- Monsoonal Blonde (Matso's Brewery Broome)
And to throw an international into the mix a great Kiwi beer (pretty easy to get here in the NW with all the Kiwis on the Mines)
- Distinction Ale (Speights, Christchurch)
