8th March 2006 - Trikki D, Carl Cannon & Daniel Swagger by ANW
RE: Carl Cannon, Trikki D & Daniel Swagger

ADELAIDE, SA – March 19, 2006 – John Woodmore, President of Australian National Wrestling officially had the following to say in an official email this morning.

“I received an email from Steven Pullen who is involved with the publicity unit at Total Wrestling Entertainment in Melbourne.

He has ordered me to take down everything involved with Daniel Swagger, Trikki D and Carl Cannon as they officially have a signed exclusive contract with TWE.

I received emails from all three individuals about a week ago informing me of these issues, which I did my best to try and resolve with TWE management.

They did not reply to my emails, calls or personal messages online.

Steven Pullen told me there was nothing he could do and to email ‘Malcolm” in regards to the talent relations and so I did receiving no reply.

Then today getting the email from Steven who apparently has nothing to do with their talent ordering that all three wrestlers be taken from our site for good.

The issue is that all three of these individuals made a verbal commitment to work for Australian National Wrestling while apparently under this written agreement with Steven Pullen and the TWE, so now our small but growing fan base suffers.

As far as replacements for these three wrestlers I have not made a decision on just yet, but will keep everyone informed.”

Information about the debut event and wrestlers involved will be posted on the official ANW website, http://www.anwrestling.com when it becomes available.

I'll probably get in trouble from admin and management when they read this, however I will give it a go anyway.

I just got back from the storage unit that is leased by ANW and got a sneak peak at the 'set' for the event in April and this is going to be something for the history books.

The plans were emailed across all admin for the show running sheet, fans this should not be missed I can assure you I have never heard of something like this being done in the country EVER!

Before admin comes a long and deletes this, pass it around.

U SHUT UP. The 'Hitman' is still good for his age, whatever that maybe. I think that he'll be a manager or something similar.

He can still wrestle, ME, and do a good job. With the talent that has been lost thanks to the petulant TWE there may not be a choice for ANW. I know how old he is, but I don't think it's prudent to reveal that on a public forum.

 I know how old you are PhilG and I wont say that out in the open either !!!
I have seen george wrestle once and was impressed with what I witnessed , I think he really should manage or be a commisioner , but if they need him to wrestle so be it .
With his long standing in the wrestling industry just his name should bring in new recruits from the eastern states, seeing he has had a hand in training most of the wrestlers in eastern Asutralia, plus the nay sayers cant say its just a bcakyard fed now can they .

26th March 2006 - Round 1 Match Confirmed For THE BEGINNING by ANW
The creative team has booked the first ever Australian National Wrestling match up and it will be a round 1 match up for the ANW World Title Tournament.

Match 1 - Round 1, ANW World Title Tournament
Joe Mundie -Vs- Drew Chatman

Both rookies and making their professional debuts on April 28th at Fowlers Live. This is a huge chance for both competitors as they could possibly go all the way and become the first ever Australian National Wrestling World Champion.

What a huge upset this would be if one of these two men makes it to the Night Of Champions at the Salisbury Villa Soccer Club on the 27th May. A bigger upset again if one of these two rookies is the champion!

With Drew Chatman having his American Football background he is not afraid of taking or dishing out a hard hit whatever it takes.

As for Joe Mundie, we have heard he has a very Samoa Joe style to him and loves to deliver his devastating calf kick.

More matches will be announced soon, as well as more wrestlers!!!
