Port won't get close to the GF, they'll lose more players than they'll gain after financial issues this year.

Interesting that Southee and Sojourner both have North out of the top 5 at this time and South in???

Based on what - just plain hate for North?

I wouldn't take it to heart mate... This time last year the team that lost the GF was being written off. I laughed at the time, knowing what the club was doing about the coming season.

If the Bays can start earlier than they did in 2007....?

I think Mickan learnt from 2007.

Competition should be very aware of anything Tiger in 2008.

Tigerland might just have a JEWEL for a coach....

I'm not taking it to heart - I'm just bemused how anyone could not have North at least in the top 5 and have South ahead of them. Still they don't call the off season the "silly season" for nothing!

I reckon North might slide, how much I'm unsure.
I think Ben Hart and Dean Howard are going to be irreplacable.
If we didn't have those 2 players this year we might have come 5th.
If we'd had Howard in the Prelim last year I have no hesitation that we would have made the GF and could have done anything when there.
Hopefully we can continue to recruit well to cover losses.
North's biggest problem when it comes to a premiership assault is managing to keep a steady team but Central showed this year that you can get around that if handled well.

No, in my case I am always going to place my side in the top!

West Adelaide I feel will get a number of first class recruits and I feel that they are a good chance of making the five.

Port are a team people constantly write off to their detriment and I dont think that they will miss next year.

Centrals will no doubt be there again and I feel that they will likely only improve.

As for my actual choice for Fifth, North are as good a chance as any.

Much will depend on recruits etc. as I've stated.

I'm praying a certain ex-AFL player will be playing for the Double Blues next Season after having this Season off.

Geeze, "If" is one of the biggest words in footy! Every side has an "if" story every year. "If" the Eagles had kicked 10-5 in the first quarter instead of 5-10, the game would have been over.
