So whats the go with Hackham? Did they get money in the end?

I heard a rumour they have picked up 14 players, all from A1 and A2. Can anyone confirm this?

Yes they both are rovers but Vick is the best rover in state country football.

Will be interesting to see where he ends up!

They have recruited, but doubt it that well. That $80,000 rumour was just that. But have been told by mates at the club board that they definatly have some good signatures. They are due to throw around the coin again........

Was a bit of a tongue in cheek comment.
Willunga along with any club could use the services of any quality players willing to pull on the guernsey.

Will anyone be able to match the Emus next yr or beyond? Its becoming quite a task to come close to them let alone beat them in the big games.
With the side not changing a lot, a relatively young side at present and young juniors consistently coming through and stepping up i cant see the Emu dominance ending for a long time yet.

Once again footy nut, you are out of touch. Vick approached Jervois about playing there. I will repeat that Josh isnt interested in playing for money - he never has been! If it wasnt for the travel factor he would be at Cove for peanuts. I know two other River Murray teams have spoken to Josh, where he could play for more money than he would get at Jervois.

Will also repeat that Mahoney has been receiving calls, not making them!

To say that Jervois only recruit from SFL is narrow minded. Two rigneys, Ewer and who else? Every SFL club would have recruited a hand full of players from other comps or teams in the last few years...

You brought the subject up footy nut, so perhaps you should be the one that names which recruits are from SFL - that is taken from an SFL list - not an SANFL list.

Once again, can tell you that Mahoney is not chasing anyone from SFL. No Jervois players are leaving so there is not much room anyway! Not sure how much clearer i can make it.

I apologise Dutchy didnt know all the facts
Vick rang Jervois and wants to play for nothing
Players from SFL are ringing Mahoney
Don't want anyone from SFL
Theres no room anyway at Jervois as no one is leaving
Now we all know the real truth thanks mate

1. Apology accepted
2. Never said Josh would play for nothing (thats if he does end up going to Jervois). But he has had offers bigger than what Jervois can afford.
3. Correct. And from GSFL.
4. Not actively chasing anyone from SFL
5. No recruits are leaving Jervois from this years squad

When you see something that isnt accurate i think its important to state the facts for the credibility of the forum.

This comment of yours for example:

"Yeh GWW its not new but as you can see from Dutchy's post - Players are ringing Mahoney (yeh right) we didnt ring him he rang us - give us a break---- as i stated Jervois only recruit from SFL and for the good of our comp lets report all their movements on this forum and report back to our clubs....."

For the record there are only three SFL players on the Jervois list.

No hard feelings footy nut. We can talk about it over a beer some time...
