Still, I guess Sticks carved a reasonable career for himself

Well, Macca gave back the medal he cost Kernas by belting someone, Scott Field?????, a few years later and handing the medal to Jarman, who had actually done five weeks for kicking someone in the pre-season, still leaving him eligible, while Macca wasn't. Great photo of Macca in the News that day, after they had woken him around 5.30am to ask about losing the medal, and he managed to look more unkempt than he ever actually did on the park.
Roger Woodcock -- 602 goals from a forward flank makes you a legend.

Let's see if anyone can be more irrelevant than that.

How's this for irrelevant? I had to stand Copping for a quarter in the mud at St.Peters College one afternoon. It wasn't too bad because he kept taking me to where the ball was and I had about a dozen kicks in that quarter. :D

The following week my stupid coach lined me up on Phil Gallagher at Sacred Heart College, and he absolutely thrashed me.

Yep, pretty irrelevant - but you've been away preparing for such a comeback.

But it reminds me of standing Bruce Lindsay one day when he was on his way out of footy - still a damn sight better than I ever was...
