Yeh, massive news. Imagine Tiger and Rory be a bit miffed having given up nearly billion dollars What will come of our LIV event in the future?

I actually think the field will get better, the event drew nothing but praise from the LIV players and let's not discount how much the WAGS enjoyed it, you know you listen to the Mrs when she says she wants to go back.

I think LIV is booked into that timeslot in April??. I still think the field will maintain its strength.someguy1 wrote:Booney wrote:

I'd happily backtrack if that's the case but no way I can see it happening unless they move it to Nov / Dec so its outside the PGA schedule it'll be no different than the existing Aus tour events. Staying in May it'll clash with the US PGA, moving to March as was rumoured clashes with the players. Big paydays will stay in the PGA tour and players wont want the travel. Melbourne / Sydney courses move likely to want a piece of it with it aligned to the PGA as well.

There's a few good pods out there. Not hard to tell which side they're cheering for either for or against LIVDutchy wrote:The No Laying Up podcast is worth a listen if you want to get the view from US golf fans

I'll backtrack here, hearing LIV as Adelaide knew it is dead.
