J Langer wrote:Heading into the mid year break, I have to say Houghton is the biggest disappointment of the division.
With 2 losses in a row to OSB and today to Mitchell Park. Most would have predicted as wins on Bedgebet.
What is happening out there???
Seems as though they are going backwards??
Now, they find themselves facing both Ingle Farm and Para Hills in the next two rounds.
Bedgebet says they lose the next two, making it four losses in a row and out of the 5.

D7 has come alive with a few shock results in recent weeks. Log-jam form 3rd to 5th enticing battle, and Mitchell Park with a couple of quality weeks closing in fast behind - they'll be disappointed not to have collected maximum points against Mawson Lakes though.
The battle for 5th will be interesting, and the flow on to B grade - given the B grade will follow the A grade fixture, potentially will have Houghton (2nd D7R) play the bottom 3 teams in D7R in the final 3 rounds.
Getting tough to identify a clear top 5 in the 1's at the moment, each side is capable on it's day.

What's your gripe with Houghton and their coach?

He's allowed to have one, not everyone on here needs to be involved in the 'Love In'

Not that I'm bitter, but more scoring shots and healthy leads given up in both games - they sting a bit.The Bedge wrote:Mitchell Park could be a dark horse, whilst they sit in 6th spot with only 3 wins, which they should've won after controlling the matches and having more scoring shots, and scrapped a draw against Mawson Lakes. They easily could've been on 6 wins and outright 3rd spot.
