SA need a gun batsmen fast!!

Postby I.F. BULLDOGS » Tue Oct 16, 2007 8:24 pm

South Australia have a good team, but they could be better.

They have a great bowling line up of:

Shaun Tait
Jason Gillespie
Dan Cullen and
Cullen Bailey, but they really do need a few gun batsmen to stand up.

Darren Lehmann is old and will retire soon,
Matthew Elliott likewise so players such as

Mark Cosgrove
Graham Manou
Jason Borgas
Cameron Borgas and
Nathan Adcock all need to make big runs for SA to have a great year

"Good" team on paper, disasterous out on the field. Cant win a game on paper, or potential.

Nobes Jnr & Cosgrove would certainly give the side a solid appearance.

currently in the B's and heading into day 2 this week is about 80 odd not out batting at 3. Hopefully the lad pulls his finger out and puts some consistent runs on the board this season to go on to bigger things............

How old is he? Is he likely to have similar "issues" to Cosgrove, and does he play similar to his ol' man?
