Ahhhh MIT80s, you're looking for their first Independent release in 25.

I know Dookie was their first major label release, no idea about the Indys.

Q7. From which Marvel Comic did The Teardrop Explodes take their name? SILVER SURFER

Q8. Tears for Fears had a huge hit in 1985 with the track "Everybody wants to rule the World". The video features Curt Smith driving around the USA. What classic car he was driving? Soft Top Caddy (?)

Q10. Which British band from the Eighties were unique in that they had two drummers? ADAM and THE ANTS (in the 80's) GLITTER BAND (in the 70's)

Q17. Who did Steven Tyler, lead singer of Aerosmith, write the song "Sweet Emotion" for, at the time, in 1973? Band member Joe Perry's wife

Q22. What song did hip-hop songstress Rhianna sample in her hit "SOS"? Tainted Love (sampling is being kind !)

Q24. Did Don Mclean sing about the death of his father in the song "American Pie"? YES or NO
Probably yes and then again no. McLean himself gives 100s of different answers as to what this song is about. His best one being when asked what American Pie meant he said "It means I never have to work again". Generally it's accepted as being about the end of 50's music (which McLean loved)...the three men I admire most (Holly, Big Bopper, Valens) took the last plane for the coast"
Q25. What was the name of Green Day's first album? Was on the Lookout label in the late 80's - can't think of the name of it though.
"They got Burton suits, ha, you think it's funny, turning rebellion into money"
