Thats a pearler!!

He's had enough of coaching the Lowly Reserves side at PORT ADELAIDE MAGPIES for the complete disarray that is coaching The Rams, sure, why not, it's not that there would be any better offers and Greg would no longer be welcome at Alberton

Keep em coming boys good for a giggle at this time of the year.

Can DB confirm or deny the word coming out of Dubby Pub, that Broady has decided to leave. It was from a vague source however its worth a look!

Sounds like crap to me Swamp. If Broady was leaving I doubt he would do it willingly. The Footy Club would be hard pressed to find a more decent bloke.

I can confirm that J.Hird has expressed interest though. That's if he can get away from his kids long enough to play a game of football.

Is there any other whispers on change of coach at any clubs others than those already rumoured?

Might be some Barossa League players looking for some easy cash next season as the limit of imports comes in. A few of the club hoppers over there have previously played APFL.

While this is not relevant, being our zone reps thought it was worth a mention.
Steven hall has retired from the eagles this year and will be coaching Henley Sharks A1s next year, rumour has it that several big name eagles have retired and are following suit eg Paul Lindsay, Tim Inkster to name two of many others. The dominance of the eags over the past 9 years may be over. One flag doesnt really reflect thier consistency over that period. Hopefully they will find something over the summer to replace blokes such as these. PS does anyone know how many matches Gowans got for that hit in the GF

Be interested to here some of the names Hazbeen? Followed the BL&G, as well as the APFL a little over the past couple of years and I cant think of anyone from or who has played in the APFL that played in the BL&G this year....

Stewy Lamond (Freeling) is a Balak boy so can play as a local.
Shane Farley (Freeling) has been an import at Balaklava in the past
Corey Hodgson has gone Virginia-Barossa Dist-Virginia, is he in BLG still?
and there has been plenty of players leave BLG for easier money at United, Hamley, Two Wells and Virginia in the past.

oneoutoneback wrote:Yeah ok.... Hodgson hasnt played in the BLG the last couple of years that I know of, not sure where he played this year??? I didnt realise that Lamond was a Balak boy, I believe he is now a local out at Freeling due to the new import/ local rule - has been there the last 4 or 5 years. Not sure if Farley has played enough to qualify as a local under the new rules tho.

The standard of the BLG comp will certainly drop off with the new import quotas.

The BLG comp is bringing in quotas but no type of points system?
