I will make a prediction that Herb will have a big year this year. Moving a little bit more freely after his knee ops. Give him a chance, guys. Do not forget that he was the best player in Australia in the Domestic One Day competition last year.
Cheers

Tasmania and Queensland look headed towards a draw with Marsh on 92 and Tasmania 5/447 deep on day 4.

SA are 3/84 with Elliot on 42 not out

WA in more trouble 8/91 chasing 267 in the first innings.

I agree with BP that Elliot will have a good season in both formats this year.

But I think he will be axed during the season

Once again Gerrard DENTON is amongst the wickets

SA now 4/99

Elliot out for 42, another catch for Wade.

Should we have just one thread for all Domestic Cricket? (As in scores and results and form instead of one for every match that starts?)

COME IN SPINNER

CULLEN 37 OVERS 2/125
BAILEY 16 OVERS 1/66

The best spinner in the team comes on to bowl in the 134th over
ADCOCK 0.1 OVERS 1/0
He gets WADE out for 83
Come on Nathan your the skipper your allowed to have a bowl before over 134
ADCOCK bowled COSGROVE + DARREN HARRIS before himself.

Actually I may have to aplogise for critisicing LEHMANN for last years captaincy
Just seems whoever captains SA is a puppett for someone else watching the games

Meanwhile CLEARY + ROFE watch in vain ...

7/134
Not one of the dismissed batsmen has even been able to match their average today, with only two scores (Elliott 42 and Cosgrove 34) over 16. It does not go well to start the season in such a fashion and against an attack that is far from an experienced and fear one.

Adam Crosthwaite will be doing well to get back into this Victorian side. Talk about taking your opportunity with both hands, Wade has scored 83 and then taken 4 catches from the 8 wickets to have fallen. Going further against Crosthwaite is his average batting, hes scored only one FC fifty (72* last season) and averages only 21 with the bat. Youd say that young Wade has shown that he knows how to handle a bat and performed well in a crucial situation for the Vics.

Did they show his reaction? The swinging of the bat? The storming off the ground? The slamming of the gate? Him shouting f@#k f@#k as he walked up the stairs?

He could be in trouble!!!

Cossies Bat was so far from the ball and his pads, i find it hard to believe that the Vics appealed for a catch in the 1st place Let alone the umpire Raising the finger.
Not condoning Cossies alleged Response But its understandable given it was such a stinker of a decision.
One of the hardest things to do as a Batsmen is to Bite your lip and calmly walk off after being wrongly given out.

Once again, an incredibly disappointing day for SA cricket.

We finished strongly on day 1 and had them on toast at 8/320 odd early on day 2. Suddenly in a space of a few hours, their tail puts another 100 on and we lose our first 8 wickets for 150 runs.

Having Boof and Tait out obviously hasn't helped, but is this the best we can serve up on our home pitch, a renowned batting pitch?

This is worse than supporting Norwood!!

Baily and Dizzz will have to dig in for the long haul for any chance of saving this one. A weak attack with a top order so fragile they would need a indian pancake pitch to make runs. Anyway long day tomorrow....
