The left-arm spinner and left-hand bat played the most recent of his four Tests in September 2017 in Chattogram, while his only first-class cricket in the past 18 months has come via two matches in recent weeks, for a Prime Minister's XI against West Indies, and for Western Australia against Queensland. In those games he took combined figures of 3-212 across 78.4 overs, while his last five-wicket haul came against South Australia in October 2020.

Yes, I post this December 16th-whufc wrote:Is it correct a win in the Sydney test guarantees Australia a spot in the World Test Championship Final.
The Dark Knight wrote:It's an important series for both teams in terms of qualifying for the WTC Final, on the Wisden Cricket Podcast it was explained that if Australia win 3-0 and then lose 4-0 to India in India they will still qualify make the final and if South Africa win 2 of the 3 matches against Australia then go in to beat the West Indies 2-0 they will qualify for the final.
The main concern in the media for South Africa is if they can make enough runs to defend.

23 wickets in 6 matches in the shield this year, hard to ignore sadly.
