Drinks break, Paki's make it go long then one of the players runs off the field for a toilet break. Light fading fast. 9/269.

England win test in Pakistan for only the third time ever. Fantastic finish to the game. Full credit to Stokes for brilliant captaincy.

I would say one of the best wins in Test Cricket history.

Stokes captaincy rated by Nasser Hussein as possibly the greatest he has seen, Big call.

Just one of the great test wins, no one had the right to win on that pitch. This england side led by stokes just has something about it and a bravery that should be commended. They are making test cricket extremely relevant and unlike the Aussies (yes that's a dig) they are capturing the imagination of the English people which it really needs at test level. 7 out of 8 tests since stokes took over we have won, just a remarkable turnaround from the previous 17 tests.

So you are saying the Aussies are not capturing the imagination of the English people.

Hard to argue.

Yeah can’t argue with any of that.

Whilst our team is on the nose the English side is playing a brand of test cricket that is not captivating to the English but to world cricket fans.

My main interest in the next ashes series is how England go trying to play this style not so much what we do….that would be a first for me

Each day I am getting more and more confident that we can give those Aussies a run for their money in the next Ashes :)

Yep thougt it was a strange call when Insaw it this morning, Robinson obviously bowled well in second innings but it the should of been Brook. Anderson had better figures than Robinson for the match too.

8 of those players played in the last Ashes series v Australia.
There were 2 posts made after the Adelaide Test match last Ashes series.

This post by an intelligent poster who barracks for an Eastern based SANFL team.
" I reckon the reason England are 2-0 down is because this series is played in Australia."

This post by a know all [ not Lightning Mcqueen, Brodlach, Booney, WHUFC or myself]
" I reckon its the softest English team Ive seen in 43 years of watching cricket.
Lots of dumb 'me' cricketers."

If the poster has watched cricket for 43 years he would notice something, that a majority of teams that tour Australia lose and at times get thrashed.
