Might seem a silly question but why is the ground called Kardina Park for the cricket but GMBHAERWZXPQWGJKLVBXM stadium for the footy? Purely just a sponsorship thing?

yep, goes one step further for the ICC WC regs you have to cover up all sponsorship names rather than just call it Kardinia Park like normal cricket matches.
