The pitch was a road and the outfield was lightning fast so apart from Axar Patel the bowlers had it tough.
With the t20 world cup coming up you would think we will see plenty of chops and changes in players roles to see what works or doesn't work.

Ellis is playing because Starc has been rested for the current series due to a minor knee injury. Marsh and Stionis missing too replaced by Sams and Abbott.Lightning McQueen wrote:I wonder why they played Ellis if he isn't even in the T20 WC squad?
Finch probably has to go if we want to play Tim David Michael

And just to make you even happier about the whole thing REB the second match in India was last night and due to rain/wet outfield the game was reduced to just 8 overs a side!Rik E Boy wrote:Lightning McQueen wrote:gets out playing a shot expected of a pissed aunty at a Carisbrooke Park family BBQ.
....and this my fellow poster, is exactly why teeball is a load of complete and utter gobshite. You've got the worlds best players all batting like Shane Warne. I'll have a Squizz at the world cup but **** watching this meaningless crap in India. Horrible format that only lasts until everyone's attention spans are ****** enough to turn to the hundred.
regards,
REB

be interesting to see what the Aussies put on the park.
Perhaps a chance for Finch and a couple of others to get into some batting form
