Norwood, of all clubs should remain silent about the 19th man fiasco. They were guilty of the identical breach at the start of the 4th quarter of the 1982 second semi final against Port. It was huge news for a day and there were calls for Port to take it to court, but John Cahill quashed that suggestion by saying that he would hate to win a game that way.
The next week was the Granger vs Glenelg game and that took over the headlines and Norwood's 19th man breach was never mentioned again.
What a difference social media makes.

Kudos to both coaches for navigating their respective teams to the big dance. Rawlings in particular has transformed Norwood into a highly dlstructured and disciplined unit.. I was really impressed with his analysis as the special comments man during 7s coverage of the Eags v Dogs match at Woodville this year.. and with the wet weather around I can see this “pea hearted” mob causing the upset… ;-)
