do you expect RFC to keep in touch (monthly catchups on the phone) to all its past players? not real feasible is it - of coarse not. Surely you can't blame a club chasing a player the quality of B. Moore. Just seems evident your reynella hating as gone to new level. seriously mate, we've heard it all before. If your gonna bag the club for this, it starts to trivialise other posts of yours against Reynella , doesnt it...?

fair constructive comments I can handle - no worries, but what is this coming to you have to ask? bagging the club for chasing players - exactly what you openly claim to do???

Just for my info. Has Ben had contact with the club since he came back from Richmond..?? Does he get invited down for different functions each and every year etc..?? If he has been and participated then as a club you couldn't do much more, but if this is the first he's heard from you guys in a while then i'm with the Rock. Clay often comes down the club, whenever South are not playing and time permits he will be down to see the boys, hangs around for preso's, enjoys a beer etc. Has spoken at MOB functions etc. Is obviously well respected at the club but also respects the club and appreciates what the club has been able to give him.

Mexican of coarse your with Rock, i wouldnt expect anything less. and thanks for that back handed compliment ZC. not sure the Ins and outs with Moore, but I know he knows some of the lads playing, mostly the ex A-graders playing in the B grade (he went to school and played juniors with them.) I know Doggers (like Clay) is back at the club quite often, hanging out with his mates, comes to aloy of the games when he has no crows commitments etc.

cornsey loves to give the RFC plugs on the radio - maybe theres been contact there not sure? im not and never have been involved at committe level.

Anyone know any confirmed pickups, dumpings of players by any SFL clubs.

apart from a few talls at Aldinga - and the possy returning to MV? I'm guessing Vick wont be playing? maybe not Comer which would be a massive loss at Noarlunga. Hope the flaggies boys pick up a few!! I know it's early early days -

Troy Butcher

Postby Ruck Legend » Thu Oct 11, 2007 9:03 pm

I believe Troy Butcher will not be playing for Reynella next year.

Would you believe it cost the club almost $4,000 in transfer fees to have him for four games.

Also apparantly the club asked all senior players for money to be put in for him last year or not get paid for a few games.

Maybe based on this did not help come finals time

Few people getting carried away with what this Milo bloke would do in the Mid South East. He would not be as dominate as some think. Remember that the MSE has no Hackham, Morph Park, Aldinga etc. It is actually a very good league!

Thanks sharks! I haven't played there but you cant under estimate a league like that just because they are not in metro Adelaide. However, McKeough would go alright down there

Alright there happy southerners.
Just to let you know that plenty of topics regarding the southern footy league in the Reynella, SFL and Aldinga forums have gone way off topic recently and have even mentioned opposition players /posters appearance and or how they are next going to get flattened by a certain person.
This will not be tolerated by the administrators of this site and any future off topic "trolling" on these forums will result in you being banned.
This happened as early as yesterday, so if you enjoy this site, please stick by the guidelines and create good conversation between yourselves about the SFL.
A lot of you HAVE PLENTY TO OFFER this part of the site but fall by the wayside.
If you think you are a victim of a constant idiot please advise the moderators and they will soon sort it out.

Hey Flyer, my posting had no negative tones towards your club, i have no allegience with Rock and don't know who he is. I was simply asking the question if the club had stayed in contact with Ben re club functions since he's been back, you have since answered that and chosen to respond in a cinical manner. If i'd had a go at the way your club acted over the GF then fair enough, been there done that, so get over it.

The one big thing MSE has over SFL is netball, the talent around at the GF, gotta love chicks in skirts. By the way I know Morphettvale has won 4 in a row, Kalangadoo has won something like 13 years out of 14 netball flags, that's an achievement in any sport, maybe Centrals can better that
