from the TCA website:

The Tigers will be missing star fast-bowler Ben Hilfenhaus, who is in India with the Australian team, and bowler Damien Wright and all-rounder Luke Butterworth who are both out with injuries.

Fair bit of depth in Tassie cricket at the moment. How TF did they manage that? Divin looked OK last night. Not sure about why the missing Tigers missed mal but they weren't missed last night if you're stil following me. Qld look lost without the Dad's army blokes and there two best bats are veterans as well. Could be a long summer for the Bulls.

After Tasmania batted they interviewed Ashley Noffke who said the match was 'under control' after Tassie knocked up 220 odd. I was thinking 'no you idiot the match is not under control, you bowled badly and Tassie are home free as the conditions favoured the bowlers'. This was confirmed by Drew who was making it talk at the end. Talk about zip!

Two bonus points to the defending Moo Moo champions over the defending Franger Cup team.

regards,

REB
