A's have struggled of late, some improvement from them this year though might hold them in good stead, a few recruits short of becoming a true force, i might suggest to my contacts to see if the Bluds are interested in loaning money at a low interest rate, seems they have plenty to give out, would be going to a good cause... Great to see the 2's get up, by the looks of their best players on the day quite a few handy ex A graders...

The B's deserved the flag, but there wouldnt be too many pushing for A grade selection. Average age of the Roos B's would be 30+.

Who would you say is the top few players in the Roos A grade that must be kept on the list?

How sure are you about the coaching job? An Imps player said he had re-signed.

Anyone know about other player or coaching movements so far?

Fielke is a quality coach and a great motivator. Unlucky for him hes run into a red hot Jervois side thats a very good and hard to beat on the big day.

Jervois best and fairest held last night. Great night had by all. Many emotional speeches with both A and B grade coaches leaving.

B & F: Tyron Hill
Runner up: Zac Ewer
Most consistent: Trev Rigney
Best utility: James Jagodnik
Best forward: Sam Mahoney

Sam Mahoney also announced as senior coach for 2008. Congratulations on the appointment Sam!

All players anounced they will be playing at Jervois next year, even though many of them have already received offers to play elsewhere for more coin.

fair enough.
will be interesting to see if he does go out to mypo. makes you wonder who he will bring with him?? i see tim inkster and paul lindsay could be retiring also?? would be a good get for mypo anyway, just for the players he could potentially bring with him over the next few years.
could be a pedlar trifecta next year at tiger land?

You could be right but then again i think Stephen Hall has been appointed coach of Henley and hes been linked to a lot of WWT players, but yeah you'd think if he (Pedlar) does go to Mypo, a few would follow him.

ok GWW...this is the place to talk RMFL.

Woodhouse was brought out of retirement to play this year. He wasnt stolen from any SFL club.

There is no point bashing the subject of imports. Every club in the RMFL does it. The lack of population makes it necessary for imported players, and to improve the standard of the comp.

Ok fair enough mate. I do see your point, but Jervois WAS brought up on the Southern forum so i was only discussing what was always being discussed, i didn't go out of my way to start the topic on there.

Thats cool mate. Its just a poor claim from footy nut thats all.

SFL people could argue that Mahoney and Schmidt played junior footy in SFL, but they are really from South Adelaide. Mahoney also had time at Meningie if you want to get technical.
