Luvsfooty ive heard the same rumour so im gonna say yes it is.

SAunders will definitely throw some cash at the weaknesses he had down there last year to try and bring the Victor side up to speed. They were hit hard by injuries last year and if fit could have shaken the 5 in my opinion.

not a surprise that shane won the B&F what you read in the paper must have been different to what was given at the club cause he was in the best most weeks. As for the rumor about victor not sure i know that shane has told the coach that he will be staying on next season and from what he said at presos when he accepted the award that is what i am expectig also, however i will try to find out more

Congrats must go out to the 2 latest inductee's of the MV player life membership group on the weekend, the big Dinosaur Shorty and the hard as nails Beer Pig Sambo... 2 great club servants who deserve this prestigious honour.

Just wondering if other clubs reward long serving players with "player life memberships" and what the criteria is. At Morphett Vale it is 150 senior games and 10 years membership.

I believe Saunders has been sinffing around 1 or 2 former B grade premiership players that can't crack the A's at MV, will probably get them, won't hurt the Emu's in anyway...

Mexican its the same criteria for life membership down at Aldinga. Well done to Shorty hes a great bloke and has been a big part of getting M/V back on top, well desrved. Well done to Sambo aswell, something they should be both very proud of in such a strong club.

And its ok zelezney im sure you'd be in Reynellas top two :D

You are kidding aren't you fly, probably clearly indicates what age bracket you fall into (not being nasty). Just because he played junior footy at RFC doesn't mean too much at all. Moorey hasn't heard boo from the RFC prior to retiring from league a few weeks ago. Now to be calling him up and suggest he owes the RFC in return I guess is typical of the RFC. I could add some further facts to back up my comments but I choose not to. RFC has overlooked some league footballers in the past (who played for Reynella) unknowingly. As for Simon (his brother) well... he left for a reason hey. Remember when pointing a rifle at ones own foot take your finger off the trigger.

a serious question rock.

do you expect RFC to keep in touch (monthly catchups on the phone) to all its past players? not real feasible is it - of coarse not. Surely you can't blame a club chasing a player the quality of B. Moore. Just seems evident your reynella hating as gone to new level. seriously mate, we've heard it all before. If your gonna bag the club for this, it starts to trivialise other posts of yours against Reynella , doesnt it...?

fair constructive comments I can handle - no worries, but what is this coming to you have to ask? bagging the club for chasing players - exactly what you openly claim to do???

I don't like the kid but he's got a point! What club wouldn't take the opportunity to get a quality past player back? Don't get used to me agreeing with you Flyer!

The question will be answered. Of course clubs including Reynella will chase quality players, thats football. You say monthly catchups on the phone (now who's getting trivial). Moorey played well over a decade of AFL/SANFL football - not one phone call or club invitation etc. This is not an isolated case, its happended before. Other SFL clubs seem to retain their relationship with their AFL/SANFL players, Morphett Vale in particular. If anything learn from this because Michael Doughty may one day return to club level football. All I'm saying is don't make the same mistakes over and over again. Its no club hate - these are facts, take the positives from them.
