PUP

dutchys NBL system and possibly NBA system appears to be early on in the season look for total betting and then as teams find form etc, start betting on individual games/teams plus totals..........

whatever the f**k it is it works absolutely magnificently

What is your preferred method with betting on the NBL?

Thanks Pup...I love betting totals in Basketball, really feel its an easy one to get the books on, Ive got a spreadsheet all set up for the NBL this season which includes, scores, W/L, days between games, shooting %, shots put up etc...some teams love to attack and play free flowing high scoring Bball, others play defensive...when 2 similar come together like tonights game between Sydney/Cairns, the Under 188.5 was always going to be a solid bet...

Was going to make tonights game my first $120- bet this season, but cause Ive been going so well didnt :( unless something goes real bad or there is overtime its another winner...

Yeah it looks like its the way to go with a bit of research, I might try and do something similar.

Looks like you might have scraped in again tonight if my scores are correct.

Have been looking at the Perth vs Adelaide game tomorrow night, and even if Crawford does play dont mind the +10.5 @ $1.78 for the 36ers that Centrebet are offering.

Dunno Brod, Im not going to trust Adelaide until I see some form Adelaide against some of the better teams

couple for tonight -

Cairns vs Melbourne - First Half
Under total Game Score 94.5
$50- @ $1.90

Perth vs Adelaide
Over Total Game Score 202.5
$50- @ $1.90

Reckon Cairns/Melbourne will be a real defensive dog fight early therefore the first half Under appeals, in the Perth/Adelaide game I believe this one should go over the total, Perth like to entertain at home and Sixers will put up the shots

1-1 last night...onto tonight....NZ host the Crocs, only 1 win between both of them out of 7 games so far, total here is 202.5, considering NZ have averaged 93 and Crocs 89 so far this season I can see this being a high scoring game exp as both will be keen for a win so that might make them a bit shot shy....play the under here

NZ/Crocs <202.5 points
$70- @ $1.90

Tommorrow nights game Razorbacks @ Hawks is pretty even if you look at the odds that are being offered, the line for the razorbacks is -3 and -2.5 @ $1.90 or -1.5 @ $1.85.
The Hawks are 0-4 (last) but have played far better sides (15-4 combined record) that the Razorbacks 3-1 (5th) (5-12) and their scoring averages are poles apart Razorbacks (110) Hawks (90).
All said and done the Razorbacks should be able to overcome the Hawks home court advantage and cover the spread.

agree Brod Razors should be too good here, interesting the line has moved from -3.5 ot -2.0, perhaps some injury concerns? anyway I still think the Razors win this -

WS Razorbacks -2.0
$70- @ $1.90

also just saw Hawks have only won 3 of their last 20 games...

Pigs played like it tonight...

onto tomorrow and Sunday, South Dragons have B2B games in 24 hours and have had 7 days rest leading into the busy weekend...reckon they will be working on their D all week as they come up against Melb and the Kings who will be keen to keep this a low scoring affair...reckon the Under on both games is the way to go -

Tigers/Dragons <206.5 points
$70- @ $1.90

Kings/Dragons <195.5 points
$70- @ $1.90

That will be it for the weekend, cant see any value elsewhere...

I don't mind the basketball but Sportbet don't bet on the NBL. Who do you guys do your business with?

OK 2 plays tonight....Sydney travel to the unbeaten Bullets tonight, Bullets have been very impresive averaging 117 points but interesting to note 4 of these games have been against teams that have/will struggle this year and defence is weak, they come up against the Kings D tonight which will be tight, only conceding an average of 80 points...Bullets wont be able to get their free scoring game going....the line of 202.5 seems generous to me so Im going under

Tigers travel to Singapore where they played only 4 weeks ago and the game went to 211 points, again think the line is a bit light here so reckon this one can go over again...

Sydney/Brisbane <202.5 points
$70- @ $1.85

Tigers/Slingers >198.5 points
$70- @ $1.85

note - I have taken the TAB odds here as they offered better lines although reduced odds

Brisbane Bullets v Sydney Kings: $1.95 <201.5
Singapore Slingers v Melbourne Tigers: $1.93 >199.5
@ $3.76

Dutchy, surely I've got the better value for the same/similar bets??

Gone all-up with my last $12, as I withdrew* some more money 8)

Yes Punk, except if I go 1-1 I break even (sort of), where you need to go 2-0 or you lose...

I took the 202.5 at TAB as Centrebet offered 200.5 @ $1.90...so 0.05c worse price but I get the extra 2 points....similarly TAB had 198.5 where centrebet had 199.5...one point better....its only a small difference but Ive seen it so many times coming down to 1 or 2 points, especially with free throws at the end!

good luck
