My point entirely.
Comment of the week woodwt.
This is could be just the start of the nightmare if the Eags have a "rebuilding year" next year.

Players move on...

Was disappointed at the time O'Hara left as I rated him. Had a shocker of a year last year. Had a good year this year. Good solid player who played well against us this year. We haven't lost anything (yet) from not having him. Couldn't really care less about him any more...

It's not a big mistake at all, he wanted to spend more time leading the ruck and he's succeeded in that.
He could have taken the easy way out and played 2nd fiddle to Lindsay but wanted to improve himself which he's done by leading the taps this year. He also made a statement by doing most of the ruck work against Lindsay and being in a side that beat the Eagles 3 times this year.
He's been gone 2 years now, are you ever going to get over it? :?

If Brett O'Hara knows how to lose GF's, then there is no guarantee we would have won last year.

Anyone would think we are talking about Barassi leaving Melbourne.

He made the choice in what he thought would further his footy. Obviously there was some ill-will between him and the club/players when he left - maybe that's to our playing-group's credit because of the tight group they are, and they thought he was an important part of that?

Can't deny watching him celebrate last after winning prelim final stirred me up, but that's footy.

Anyway, players swap clubs. Arguably it was Cooper's bit of mongrel attitude and inspiration that was the little bit extra that got us into a winnin position in last year's GF.

Actually it's about grade three spelling. However, it's grade one humour for the six smilies at the end of the post.

By 1 hitout wasn't it wedgie and who was 2nd Paul Lindsay. He's not half the man that Paul LIndsay is and that's exactly why the Eagles were happy to let him go.
