whufc wrote:What has become a regular occurance over the last couple of years Spalding and Orroroo played out a close encounter with Spalding just coming out on top. Slightly to much depth with bat/ball and fielding saw them chase down Orroroo 3/127, five down with 10 balls to spare. Footy mail medalist Matt Longbottom the star hitting 38 not out to guide the barebackers to three straight wins.
Reigning premiers Bel Man have fallen to zip and three on the back of a Bowman masterclass for Pekina. Chasing 185 at Bel Man was going to need some superstar performances and both Will and Luke Bowman stepped up hitting 79 and 72 respectively guiding Pekina to the win with 2 balls to spare. Apparently the second to last ball was a dropped catch that saw Pekina snatch the winning run. Pekina record their first win of the season.
Burra are the surprise packet of 21/22 going to 3-0 on the back of hitting 293 against Bundlaeer. Schupper was the start hitting a ton whilst Harry Quinn chipped in with 70 odd. Bundaleer were never in the run chase being bowled out for 129, they will be somewhat disappointed after opening their account last week.
Booleroo continued their solid start to the year bowling out Wilmington for 102 and chasing it 4 down in 25 overs. Real disappointing result for Wilmington who will have considered it an 'on' week with all their shift workers playing. Booleroo now sit 2-1 and could be chasing a top 4 spot.
Thanks for review! Who's doing the damage for Booleroo with bat and ball?
