Should be a great start to the season theirs some good looking teams this year. i reckon it will be a close season with about 5 or 6 teams fighting it out for the championship. i myself like the look at steve richards team jack Danials. will make it interesting if it rains sunday which they say it will.

Despite Holden's having the top 5 qualifiers Ford come through in Race 1, 1st and 3rd.
Onya Lowndsey and Whinchup!

Great giving the Holden's a head start and watching their fans faces deflate when Skaife crashed by himself.
Skaife qualified as No 1 and came dead last. Doesn't get much sweeter than that, nice new car looked nice for the couple of laps it survived! he he

Im still not sure if I cheered louder when Lowndes won or when Skaife crashed his brand new car, I think the crash. ;)
I honestly dont know how Holden supporters can handle following that clown (or the younger Kelly for that matter), if I was a Holden man I'd follow someone like Richards or Tander and my fav team would definately be Larry Perkins Jack Daniels team, what a fantastic looking car and apparel they have!

Hopefully Ford make it a double today, but Im happy every round when Skaife doesn't win be it Holden or Ford. :D

When Skaife hit the wall, at the time I said I don't care who wins now (Ford or Holden), but it was good to see Lowndes win, I just hope he can clean up this afternoon

We were at a BBQ last night with 4 that have come over from Vic for the race, and about a dozen locals, there were 7 Holden fans there, and only one of them is a Skaiffe fan, the rest cheered just as loud as the Ford fans when he hit the wall.

I've just spent 4 days sitting in the sun @ the infamous turn 8 (g'day Sam), what a great four days, apart from those cheating people who called a jump start today....what the?

My eldest son didn't know whether to laugh or cry when his favourite driver hit the wall TWICE in TWO DAYS directly in front of us!

Great races, I honestly didn't think that Winchup was a good enough driver. In the practice he was very ragged and nearly hit the wall 3 or 4 times.

But car racing was the winner, and next years tix will be ordered soon...

Sounds like you use Internet Explorer?
Internet Explorer is the Holden of the internet, falls apart, 2nd rate and a loser.

PS I didn't know you were an Elizabeth feral, you come across as educated!

Lol...

yep, yep, yep and yep.

Junior Borat's middle name is Brock.......

P.S. Ingall has as much chance of winning the championship again this year as Courtney has of finishing a race...

P.S.S. I'm a Holden fan, but actually more of a "driver" fan. Big fan of Lowndes, anyone who actually has a go and has a personality as well.

You must have been a huge fan of the Sierra's Borat

My nextdoor nieghbours son's first name is Brock, and the whole house in a shrine to HDT, HRT, Brock, Skaiffe  etc. etc., and they love nothing more than discussing Brock's time steering a blue oval badged car around the track :D , or being reminded of the "Peter Brock" special edition EB Falcon :D

what a weekend, i had an awesome view of all the action at turn 8, skaife really was unlucky in race 2 though, if murph hadnt hit the wall he would have got through fine, pretty big suprise to see whincup win though.
decent $800+ weekend thoguh, better start saving for the QLD race in a few months. :D
p.s. you will have to move over 1 stand next year Borat.

Hey Sam, you were just jealous that we had the shade!

P.S. I sent Jamie Whincup an email today regarding the marshalls stuff-up which caused him to hit the wall in practice. If I get a reply i'll send it to you.
