Not much apparently, has looked like two middle of the road sides thus far. Be interesting to see if either side can put the foot down in the premiership quarter.

Yep wound back the clock a bit, I only saw from half time onward but liked the way we went about it, although still some skills to tidy up. Would think both sides would be making up the numbers if they get to the major round, although sounds like South have some cattle to come back that could make a difference.

You can’t fault Norwood’s effort

As the players get more familiar with Rawlings game style they are only going to improve.

Huge off-season for us, will lose a few of the senior players who will need replacing, and need some key forwards, but most clubs around the country probably do too lol. The young lads have a real good dip and thats what I most wanted to see this season whilst we're developing, so a fairly happy camper here all things considered.

Well done to Crossy again on his milestone.

Fair effort from Norwood to come back after last week & get the win.
Serious question marks over South now as contenders.

We are average and a middle of the road side.

Crossy deserved better than what was dished up today. I personally was embarrassed!

South desperately need goal kicking practice-3 players missing goals from
set shots 25 metres out straight in front - not good enough.

Many players out of form. Intensity hasn’t been there since Glenelg loss.

Worrying signs IMO

A very poor effort from South today.
Considering the occasion, the lack of effort on occasions from some was just apalling. We are about half as good as we think we are.
Full credit to Norwood , they had a crack and they absolutely belted us in the midfield with Grigg & Co running riot.
Also full credit to most of the Norwood players who attended Post match presentations, a special mention too to Jade Rawlings who was glowing in his praise of Joel Cross.
We have next week off, we have a lengthening injury list but IMO a few players need an attitude adjustment and perhaps an early start the following week v Sturt.

Grigg bought his own footy, will need some lengthy time off work due to severe leather poisoning.

A special day for him and his family.

Couldn't complain about the weather either, a very nice day down at Noarlunga.

A poor showing, especially on a milestone day.

Lost count of the number of times CK on the digitalpass used the phrase “hacked forward” when describing South’s clearances and forward entries. Much like the game at the Parade a few month’s back we didn’t handle the pressure around the ball applied by the Legs and disposal appeared rushed.

Had the run of play in the third but regulation misses from 25 out to Cross and Heaslip halted momentum, while moments later Grigg nailed a checkside goal in-front of the hill at the Northern end. From somebody who only watches the Legs a few times a year, it’s difficult to believe he was in the magoos the last time the club’s met.

A fortunate reversal to Sampson in the middle of the ground led to Frietag marking 30 out directly in front half way through the last. Was lucky to score a behind. A minute later Shenton kicked accurately, and it was an uphill battle from there. Not for the first time this season an inability to take chances in front of goal proved telling.

Norwood have proven to be a bogey side in recent years, with South only registering 1 win the past 6 outings. Narrow losses by 9, 9, 4 and 2 points recorded in that time.

Haines was very good. A few others got plenty of the footy but didn’t impact the match greatly (ie Broadbent).

Missed the opportunity to open a decent gap between the top 3 and 4th spot.

Plenty of South supporters in attendance, in fact more than Ive seen at a home game for a long time.

Good to see plenty of Legs fans in attendance, well done. Was at my usual spot in the north western pocket, outnumbered by the opposition, but heartened to see several little Panther families enjoying the day if not a win...grrr

and where have you be hiding this bloke Mitch Grigg? Dominated the game, giving blokes the don't argue, stepping inside opponents at will, killed us.

Yeah just struggling up forward again. Seldom look likely to take a grab and just never get a crumb atm. Tarca just looks lost and cannot find the ball. Heaslip an ok option up forward I reckon, big body , nice hands, worth a go more time.

Wilkinson being missed. Fitt started well before finding himself in the twos and then injured. Tarca hot and cold, as is often the case with small forwards.

I like Heaslip in the middle and under packs. Not the most reliable kick though, wouldn't want him lining up to kick the match winner But yes maybe playing forward of centre more.
