India's Reaction

Postby Pup » Fri Sep 28, 2007 2:10 am

Indian players arrived home from their 20/20 tournament victory against Pakistan to massive crowds, parades and to be treated like kings.

The team recieved a 2 Million dollar bonus for winning the cup.

They had a parade to show of the cup

Yuvraj Singh recieved a new model Porsche for hitting six 6's in an over.

Gee they love their cricket dont they

I Guess its better than getting home and finding your house burnt down.

On another note Australia arrived for their 7 ODI series against India, I reckon get on Aussies in the first game with India still recovering from the partying even with no Hussey, Ponting or Watson.

I think several Indian players will be under an injury cloud.
Several shoulder and neck injuries from all the hugging after the 20/20 final.

Exactly, Indian 'fans' do the opposite when they lose.

Wait until Haydos and the Aussies destroy them this summer! There'll be Indian houses getting burnt left, right and centre!

In some fairness to them, I'll stand corrected but I don't think they have won a world tournament in any form of cricket since the 1983 World Cup (if you exclude the 1985 mini world-tournament in Melbourne)

Plus they beat us in the semi-finals (best team in world) and then beat their arch-rival Pakistan in the final
In between signatures .....
