We left Morgan last Thursday at around 11:30am, we motored for about 3 hours so got about 15-16km's up stream.
We parked around 2:30, got on the beers and while sitting on the back swim deck off to our left, coming down stream is a bloke on a stand up paddle board. On the front of the board is a big backpacker type backpack, a swag, a small esky and a foam box, like the white ones you get from the fish mongers. None of it is wrapped up in plastic, it's just sitting on the stand up paddle board.
His name is Bobby. Bobby is from the UK, he's in shorts, shirt, floppy hat and I hold out an icy cold Pale can for him to come and grab. He's most thankful for it. He sits with us and has a chat about his adventures. He and a mate ( wait for it ) started in Echuca (!) 10 weeks ago, his mate went home 4 weeks into it, couldn't handle it, Bobby kicked on. He's heading to the mouth. What a story to tell one day!

If you want to go quickly, go alone.
If you want to go far, go together.
