Went tonight and it was OK, Silverchair OK in patches and Powderfinger their usual professional best, however reckon they are mellowing a bit, didnt play all their songs due to the shortened play list with 2 bands.....still worthwhile though...

Did Daniel Johns forget about the crowd at times during his self indulgent guitarsolo's (played with this tongue) or what Dutchy?

Hello Daniel,we are all waiting for the song we know, not the screaming sounds you seem to enjoy so much.

Powderfinger consumate professionals, but Bernard's voice by tours end will be shot, struggled to hold a note last night.Long way to go.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

I saw them at Mildura two weeks ago. It was a great show - especially from Powderfinger.

As for Silverchair...

Went last night and agree the sound wasn't that crash hot.

Apart from the first 3 songs, silverchair were very good. Got the crowd going. Only thing that annoyed me was he spent half the night on the floor fidling with his foot pedals...WTF?

Powderfinger were excellent. Played a good selection of their best songs. Would have like to have heard Bless my soul though.

Both bands complained about the crowd being boring on Wednesday...WTF were you doing Dutchy?

What about the sound at the Ent Centre is so bad? Ive only been there once, for Metallica in 98, and being Metallica, there were no sound issues!!

LOL...well they were saying we were better than their last few shows, common theme?

Bless my Soul was played Wed night, sounds like they chuck their play list around a bit, guess when you have got that many good ones you can afford to do it....they didnt play Passenger on Wed night

I went to the Thursday night show - silverchair were better than I expected them to be, by a mile.

Powderfinger were awesome.

No issues with sound quality from me. Maybe some of you need your ears checked!
