I was just in Moonta, very wet in there. Rained all the way home and still raining steady on the farm now.

Is that good for farmers at this stage of the year?

We have had 15mm so far and that is a good thing. For the last 2 years we have planted into very dry soil with nothing down blow and things can get dry quickly. If we get lots of rain from now up until seeding around Anzac Day then we will have some in the bank as they say. Only problem rain brings is a flush of weeds which will have to be sprayed out costing money but the benefits of bigger yields with extra stored moisture smashes the cost of spraying the thirsty weeds out. Yes it can keep raining
