The Central District player is apparently only 26 still and has played in a couple of 'Dogs premierships.
I heard this one on Saturday at Balhannah in regards to him possibly coaching Lobey next year.

You dont turn up to an oppositions celebrations (The youngster in mentions team didnt even come close to making the finals), shoot your mouth off and not expect repercussions. Also, these two have been at each other for a while, who cares.... We got three back to back so im not even worried. My liver is a little damaged, wait VERY damaged, however.....

I think you will find he wasn't shooting his mouth off, but some people OVERREACTED to a comment that was made. I was involved in the conversation and all parties were happily involved. Then alcohol and testosterone took over. As a senior player, I was very dissappointed to see the actions of some people who should know better.

I was involved in the conversation also Spearhead and I agree he didnt shoot his mouth off.
All just an unfortunate misunderstanding.
He was at the club because he is a mate of mine and I played there for ten years.
End of Story.

If Silky knew how close he is to finding himself out of league footy at the moment with his behaviour, he would take a very good, long look at himself and his actions. A few people of influence at Sturt monitoring him very closely at the moment, and putting his ability aside to look at how he conducts himself at times.

What's with the silence on here guys? Hell 60 hours without so much as a whimper. Sorry Power supporters but you've woken up in the morning twice now and it wasn't a dream. Life goes on..............
Older, wiser and been there. But still love that grassroots country footy.

Seems like mad Monday has turned into a mad month for some. And with Port being put to shame, some may hibernate (or whatever they call it over summer months) throughout the summer. Could be a long summer, Crumber.

Go back and look what happened on this thread at the same time last year. Lots of stupidity. I guess it's either stupidity or silence. I'm happy to participate in either.

Was definitely Blackwood people at the Central GF saying that they wouldn't continue on in Country.

well their president was not saying that at GF. He and C Grade coach said they were looking at B Grade in Central Bs and C Grade in Country A grade. Time will tell but poor blokes in Cs would be on the end of some big thumpings.

Why would they change their set up?? 3 out of their 4 sides made the finals. 2 made GFs! If their C grade was in Country Div A grade, they will cop some severe beltings.

Any other New Coaches named yet??

A great effort to come from the Elimination Final to knock off Kangarilla.
Gary Hughes and his men cop a bit of **** here, but I'm sure all would agree that the Lions have had a great finals series
And importantly, for the future of the Club, great to see the Junior Colts take the flag as well.

Very Good Effort from the elimination final PP but i have to say i strongly DISAGREE with tv's future as when Gary leaves for Lobethal in a couple of weeks with his money and SHEEP your club will become the next milang!!

I don't think Gazza would leave TV in the lurch. Gazza is a loyal man and I know he is Lobey but he still respects the clubs that he was involved in or is involved in I dunno what happened between him and Gumeracha.

Very doubtful, he is just mates with a few of the boys. But then again, who wouldn't want to play at Lofty?
We want Vaughn.
