Let plane's full of the disease in and think we're invincible, FFS, we were going well because we were stringent, Mark McGowan isn't such a prick after all.

We can't really turn planes full of Australians away.

I'm with Stan. Really can't think of how the disease could spread in one of those quarantine hotels without someone doing the wrong thing.

Just hope yesterdays weather conditions meant people weren't really out and about doing things.

They had plenty of time to get back here before it got out of hand, it's just very annoying to hear "we have three new cases but all good, they are returned travelers in hotel quarantine"

Well now it isn't "all good".

SA citizens have done exceptionally well and I know many that were looking forward to further restrictions easing and getting to see family again or go for interstate trips, that is all now in jeopardy, bad timing with Christmas approaching.

It only affects me indirectly and it's only an inconvenience for me but it affects the mental health of many should we go backwards in any way.

Prof Spurrier said last week she had concerns about the amount of arrivals from known hot spots arriving almost daily.

Why arent medi-hotel workers tested daily? Truckies are tested every border cross and they are a far lower risk.

I also wonder if given how tight we were over the past 150 days when we had zero cases of community transmission means people are just 'over it'.
Where as had we been more free in our restrictions over this period, people would be more willing to have a harsher lockdown right now, for a very short period, knowing it will be just that, a short period.
Instead there are large numbers in the community that won't comply now knowing this will drag on and on and on.

I think most would comply after seeing what Victoria have been through, two weeks of f*** all would mean nothing in the grand scheme of things.

Hopefully it gets sorted quickly and you can enjoy your trip. Unfortunately this makes interstate travel a bit of a lottery. My son flew down to Hobart Saturday afternoon for 3 week work stint. He's currently locked up in an office waiting to see whether he has to go into quarantine.

NSW not closing the border.
Gladys has said that states need to learn to live with it and get on with business. She has full faith in our process to get it sorted.

Queensland has hinted they may close their border though

Yeah the list of 26 different bus trips dating back to last monday is a concern.
If it was out in the public on Monday thats a lot of spreading that has gone on.

Ouch. Hope you can get this under control quickly..... It took us a while in Melbourne, but we were successful in shutting outbreaks down like this fairly well. Just need people to take responsibility & get tested now if they were in these area's, and isolate until they get the results.
