Does she get a fancy watch as a going away gift?
No, but she will get a nice early release payout.

Yeah, settled already.Q. wrote:DOC wrote:"She said she would not seek any financial compensation, meaning Ms Holgate would miss out on half her $1.4 million base salary she was entitled to if her contract was terminated without notice."

"Not seek any financial compensation" means it's already been settled privately with NDAs or has an early release payout in her contract, so that it literally cannot mean 'compensation'. An employment lawyer wouldn't have just had her resign without some form of settlement.

It's been an interesting year, business wise. How has everyone else faired?
We (my work) have actually had a damn good 2020 so far, in comparison to 2019. Covid, while frustrating, has not overly affected us.
That said I know I have missed some opportunities, in particular overseas through not being able to travel. I hope that in 2021 we can travel again, so I can re-gain some bits of lost territory. One of my competitors in NZ, have an ex All Black as the Sales Rep....... the locals think he is some type of god. That aside I get a fair bit more work than he does.
