E.g. Milwaukee (Wisc.) won't report till at least 5 a.m. their time (it's currently 10.30 p.m.) - those votes are likely to give Biden a substantial boost.RB wrote:I would strongly caution against assuming Trump wins Michigan or Wisconsin.
He may well win those states, but there's very little to be gleaned from the early results there right now because there's every reason to believe the votes counted so far are, for a number of reasons, not representative of the state as a whole.
In Michigan and Wisconsin we're basically still where we were this morning.

If the trend in postal voting continues then Biden should be able to overturn a couple of those deficits. Staggering the margin he has on the Postal votesTrader wrote:Jim05 wrote:Interesting result

Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania all count the mail in votes last, they will shift towards blue over the coming days. The question is, will they shift far enough to get Biden over the line.

Market dropped during the morning as the result looked close. As Trump started to pull ahead and people thought we might have a result the market moved into positive territory, then as Biden has started to claw back to a neutral position those gains have been washed away again.
