My understanding is that it's considered a restraint of trade and isn't something that's actually enforceable.

It depends on what the employer is trying to protect a legitimate interest by imposing that clause. Use of trade secrets and intimate knowledge of customers, or enticing them away to the employee's new business, would probably be considered legitimate. The scope of the restraint must also be 'reasonable.'

There was no argument, just some unwarranted abuse.
If I'm out and about on my phone and see something that deserves a ban I'll just hit the ban button and fix up the period when I get home as I did in this case, LMA got the same ban for the same reason too. Both were in August so should be back soon enough if they're apologetic and improve their behaviour. Here's a screenshot of the offending posts:
