It didn't seem that bad, North just seemed a lot harder at it, quicker and more skilled, you guys gave up some shocking short kicks to North in your defence which the coach definately didn't kick.
Mind you even North gifted Norwood their first two goals with out of bounds kicks too.
Loved the games of our indigenous lads today where Wilson only seemed a shadow of himself for you guys.
Even though the conditions weren't great you were unlucky to run into North on their best outing for the year.
Also Surjan seems like a fantastic coach, very impressive so far.

Fair call mate, you'd have a lot more idea than me as I've only seen Norwood 4 or 5 times this year.
You lost a player early today too which wouldn't have helped with the rotations especially with question marks over Norwood's fitness already.

Yup. That’s what we are these days. The club that others use for percentage boost. We are the CashBoosters of the SANFULL. Horrible game style that can’t win home and away games let alone finals. Munted illiterate coach whose standout personality trait is stubbornness. What is the point of throwing the brown paper bags around each summer if this clown is driving?

Great team effort by the Roosters, I really felt this was going to be a danger game, given North's crap form the previous week against West and Norwood desperate for a win to remain in touch with the top four. In the end we were never really troubled by Norwood, our 6 goal quarter time advantage was never really eroded as the game went on. North's skills, particularly at ground level were far superior to that of the Redlegs', and I was actually quite disappointed with their skill level, for a side which contains a lot of talent.

Great captain's game by Alex Spina, 32 touches and 12 marks, North's best IMO. Apart from the two gifted goals from out on the full kicks in the second term, North's defense was pretty much impenetrable, and our forward line which seemed to go AWOL last week returned in style. I was also impressed with Minervini's game - he's probably not in the club's first 18 when at full strength, but can play an important role as a pinch-hitter coming off the bench and doing some damage up forward. He's certainly improved this year in my book.

Looking forward very much to next Sunday's home match against the Bays. Hoping Alex Barns returns to the league side after his trot in the reserves.
