Is this player still on the Bluds list? Good on him if thats true.
If he was getting $100 more than $300-$350 then he was on a fair wicket for an unwanted player.

Yeah it was a player who was still playing for the Bloods this year. Good luck to him though, i think the reason he was "unwanted" by the other club was because they had already committed to their recruits, or couldn't fit him in. The point i'm making is that Jervois are a very aggressive recruiter, a lot of clubs tend to have limits, but the Bluds with their great finances seem to be able to fit everyone in lol.

Fair enough, but dont underestimate the power of Timmy's negotiation skills. He puts a lot of his own time and effort into recruiting players, and when he wants someone, he generally gets them!

He has already put some time into players this year for next season, some of which have had the opportunity to come to the club and get a feel for what its all about. I'm not sure if any other coaches are that dedicated to recruiting, so he deserves his success.

I'm just saying it doesnt all come down to money at Jervois. At the start of this year Timmy told several players what he was prepared to pay them, at the risk of losing some players, but to their credit the players stayed on at the club. As you can imagine, some of their paid players were highly sought after at the end of last year. Just goes to show you how strong the club is i reckon.

If this forum is going to be about keeping the custard from burning then i'm happy to join in.

I heard Sheill from Imps is going to star in a movie with Heath Ledger.

Sayers is going to Ramblers.

Dalwood is going to write for the Advertiser. Michael Angelo Rucci is going to the Herald Sun.

Mahoney back to Meningie. Tim is coaching there and Sam is getting $600 a game, depending on how much fish Timmy gets during the week.

Dent getting Martin Pike to Tailem.

i also heard he was playing cricket, and possibly footy for mypo
havnt heard anything about being in debt to the club though. i think they helped him out to build his horse stables a few years back but heard that 'deal' finished last year or the year before.
he is the biggest man of mystery though... that many stories are told about him every year. gonna play here, gonna play there. who knows what the believe.
